Bodegas Vizar to participate in the Wine Tunnel of the Salón Gourmets 2025 with Syrah 2020
Bodegas Vizar is gearing up to make its mark at one of the most prestigious wine events of the year. The renowned winery, a symbol of quality and sustainability in viticulture—recognized by the European Union as a Vino de Pago D.O.P. Dehesa Peñalba—has been selected to take part in the 29th Wine Tunnel, which will be held from April 7 to 10, 2025, in Pavilion 8 of IFEMA Madrid, during the 38th edition of Salón Gourmets 2025.
Vizar Syrah 2020, the Star of the Event
The exclusive space at Salón Gourmets will allow attendees to taste more than 350 single-varietal wines from 267 Spanish wineries, including Vizar Syrah 2020, which is notably one of the standout selections in the 40th edition of the Guía Vinos Gourmets 2025.
Furthermore, the Wine Tunnel, sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, offers a unique experience for professionals and wine enthusiasts. Expert sommeliers will guide tastings and provide insights into each wine, its origins, and its unique characteristics. Additionally, each visitor will receive a tasting booklet with detailed information about the wineries and their wines, further enhancing the exposure of participating brands.
In this edition, Bodegas Vizar will have a particularly significant presence as it proudly presents its 100% Syrah from the 2020 vintage, aged for 22 months in French oak barrels. Notably, this wine has been recognized in the Guía Vinos Gourmets 2025 for its relevance as an organic red wine—”balanced, complex, refreshing, with a well-structured and long-lasting body.” Consequently, Bodegas Vizar’s presence in this prestigious setting will allow visitors to experience the quality and character of its wines firsthand, further solidifying its position as a leading name in the industry.
